Yoga – The definition of yoga is union of body, mind and spirit. Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is a form of hatha yoga which focuses on postures (asana) and breath control (pranayama). The Vinyasa system links a series of postures with rhythmic breath – “one breath, one movement”. It’s a non-stop flow that can feel cardiovascular beacause of the movement from one asana to another. With time, the practice becomes a sort of moving meditation.
Pilates- Pilates is a mind-body exercise method developed by the late Joseph H. Pilates. The STOTT method builds upon the original principles of Joseph Pilates while incorporating modern knowledge about the body and biomechanics. This system of exercise focuses on developing core stability while strengthening and balancing the body.
FUSION CLASS – Combining postures from both yoga and pilates creates a sequence of poses that will help you strengthen your center and develop a more flexible body.
